Update on Mikinzi

Yesterday we spent a total of 6 hours at the urgent care and ER. We were told at the urgent care that Mikinzi needed to be hospitalized for 2 to 3 days for IV antibiotics. Upon arriving to the ER, we learned that the Doctor that approved this was already gone for the day. We had be seen in the ER for an evaluation. That is when they said no stay was necessary. They lanced the wound, drained it, and packed it. Then sent us on our way. She goes back tonight to have the packing taken out. It looks 75% better today. I think we are finally on our way to recovery. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I'll keep you posted.
